One of my favorite early Metal-type songs....from late 1973 and played at 78 speed...

Well, the yodelling gives it that funny insanity kinda quality.

My main thing is the actual song...the guitar riffs and the solos, etc.

My cousin had the original record back in the day....I played the shit out of that one song...

I still have not had the chance to watch the full vid....brought it home last night ant got busy doing other things....

Thanks God 10 years later Metallica and Megadeth appeared.....or it would have been a long distance from us....

I wouldn't call it metal.

You know when Focus did this on "The Old Grey Whistle Test" the response was so big that the record company had to press copies of their album solely for the next week.

True story.

Don't get me wrong I definitely agree.

I actually love the whistling and accordion part.

And the whole part where he just makes noises. I forget what thats called.

That's why I like the Gary Hoey version best, all guitar.

I didn't know Gary Hoey had a version of the song. I'm gonna have to check into that.

It is pretty smoking.

I like the extended studio cut though. The solo really BURNS, whereas in this video (even while containing much fantastic fretwork) the solo has a lot of rubbish in it too.

And they play it a wee bit too fast. Makes it lose some of it's original flavor.

If you guys notice, the video and audio are out of sync.....

I have fixed that and will upload the file on Monday...
