VH1 has put together a new reality series called Supergroup. I know that everyone is now sick to death of these shows, but this one will be worth watching. They put five musicians and their managers in the same house in Las Vegas and let them rock. The band that came out of this is called Damnocracy and it includes Ted Nugent, Sebastian Bach, Jason Bonham, Scott Ian and Evan Seinfeld who are managed by Doc McGee. I had the chance to ask Jason Bonham what he thought about this bands sound and all he said was "It's harder then I'm used to". Tonight I'll get to see if he is right. The shows grand finale will be a live concert in Las Vegas at the new Empire Ballroom.

Fans line up early for Damnocracy's first ever concert. A woman that I met at the front of the line flew in from Las Vegas New Mexico for this, way to go Juel. By the time the doors opened, the fans were ready to rock. Can this new Supergroup live up to the hype and impress their fans?

I thought Sebastian Bach was joining George Lynch's supergroup(Lynch, Tommy Aldridge, and trying to get bassplayer out of Van Hagar). And by the way, just because Damn Yankees flopped, doesn't mean every Nuge project sucks

For someone to be in a supergroup, don't they need to be considered "super" first?

He had a Zep clone band called "Bonham" in the late 80's. And he's "unofficially" taken his dad's throne a few times.

That's as far as I know. He might have played on some Page solo tours too.

How true.. Foreigner 4 is probably one of my favorite albums as it was my first concert.. I was shocked to see them touring and playing without Lou Graham.. There is no Foreigner without Lou..

Jason was also in the newly reunited UFO for a short time.

He also had a band that went around doing a Zep tribute. They put out a live CD for charity. "In My Father's Name" is the name of it. It's kick-ass!!

Very humble guy and very nice to talk to.

Kind of surprising when you consider his father was God.

Oh not really....

Sons of God are often known for our humility, among other qualities.

You're right, these reality shows are getting a bit much. However, I gotta say....
I watch this damn show with true faithfulness. I wanna have Bonham's baby. :p

Watched it...the last few shows...and liked it...

Bonham's gotten himself into some shape...he was one roly-poly motherfucker for awhile there...

he actually looked fit here...and much better without any hair...

He was also in the "Rock Star" movie...Bonham...as the drummer for Steel Dragon...that had to have dialisis...right before every show...lmfao...hilarious...
