STEVE LUKATHER ADDS HIS VOCALS TALENTS TO VAN HALEN:
From Steve Lukather's website: www.stevelukather.net:
Recently the re-united rock icon Van Halen recorded three new tracks produced by Glen Ballard. Two tracks are scheduled for appearance on the Best of Volume 2, to be released later this year. Steve Lukather did some background vocals on the new Van Halen tracks. Luke "Yes I DID do some BG's on the new Van Halen stuff. Ed and Al are brothers from the 70's and I love those cats a lot! The new stuff is REALLY cool and sure to make VH fans rabid for more. It was cool they asked me. I think I am a good luck charm for them. Every VH record I have sung on entered the charts at #1! Too bad it doesn't work for me, hahaha."
This post makes reference to two tracks being lined up for the best of, but we do know that the band have also recorded a third track. At this time the make up of the forthcoming compilation is not finalized - so let's hope there is indeed room for 3 enw tracks.

Maybe Van Hagar will throw in a cover of "Hold The Line" in between When It's Love and Love Walks In. Or maybe Toto will be the opening act. Or maybe Toto will be the opening act and then for the encore Van Hagar and Toto will play love songs together. In any event I'm sensing that "love" will be a big theme of the Van Hagar 2004 tour. How beautiful.

Yeah now we have Glen Ballard in on this, again. That little top-40 fuck. Maybe they'll throw in a cover of an Alanis Morrisette song too to make this concert really something special!

Eh heh. And DLR was there to tell him when to STFU, too.
This time? Expect Diana Ross and the Pips.

What is Van Halen Best of Vol 2 ?????

Its all Van Hagar tunes. They should call it
"the least worst of Van Hagar" or smth.

Yeah, just imagine Sammy screaming out......

Well I'm here to remind you

It's gonna be a blow off tour to Sammy Fagar. Making some quick easy cash. Sam thinks he has friends with Al and Eddie, all along they are using him to re-sell an old idea. nostalgia sells. And we all know Mikey takes it in the ass, thats why he's there. :D

I still believe the real reunited Van Halen, you know the mighty VH, will be touring next summer. DAVE to make the SAVE. Cape and all. ;)
