Well, here's out thread for next week's draft...

one of the best times of the year...

How about Houston's smoke screen? Pretty brilliant. They are talking contract with Bush of course...

but also with Mario Williams of NC State...

now...I don't think they are going to sign Williams...

but this is a sure sign that they are looking to see what teams will offer them for that slot.

If people think they are really going to sign Williams...

someone may try and knock their socks off with a deal to snag Bush...

This could be fun...

I've also heard some rumors that New Orleans is floating that they are still going to draft Leinart...

again...smoke screens...

Currently I've been on my Hands and knees praying to everything that is holy that Hawk would drop to the 12th spot or the Packers would like to trade. So far No Luck :(, AJ Would fit perfectly with the Browns.

Yeah...he would...but it will never happen...

Green Bay is a lock to take him unless someone else drops...I could see them taking a Leinart if he's there...

but I don't see Hawk falling to 12 even then...

I'll take That one LB from FSU, I believe Wimbley is his name or something. Or Chad Greenway is good too.
Rumors are that if Deangelo Williams, or Lendale were still there we'd pick them up. It was rumored a while back too that we would trade Green Bay Faine, Green, our 1st rnder, and our 4th or 5th for their First Round pick (Basically trading for Hawk.). I say do it. But chances are well get that guy from Oregon Who seems like a bit of a bust to me/

The Browns won't take a RB IMO...LenDale may not even go in the first round...

We won't know what will happen until it does...

Green Bay does want to deal down...but I think they want Hawk just as much...

Steelers will get him, And I will be fairly pissed at the move, because i get the feeling he is better than Reggie Bush, You guys are lucky Motherfuckers when it comes to drafts.

Maybe the Browns could get Carpenter in the 2nd round?

Braylon was a grate move to break the 1st round curse, we need to keep it up.

Carpenter is getting a lot of press...and trust me on this...if LenDale White and Bobby Carpenter are available at 32...Pittsburgh will go Carpenter...

we aren't lucky with drafts...

it's called doing your homework...

Carpenter is a stud...no way he lasts until round 2...

Except for 2005, We've really failed to draft good talent that have made an impact. Compared to y'all who have picked up players like Polamalu and Roethlisberger who were very under the radar but some of the best players at their positions in the league.(Mind you K2, has plaed only like 2 games and has next season to prove himself.).

He kinda reminds of the fridge for some reason. I'll take him, Just don't feel comfortable with the guy.

I think the Steelers really want Mangold from OSU...but don't think they'll get him even though they are throwing out the LenDale smokescreen...

I think the Cowboys should draft a really good psychiatrist:D

The Williams talk with the Texans is just a little pressure on Bush to keep his contract demands down to this stratosphere ...and also throwing out there the possibility that they may have a trade cooking ...

No way does Hawk fall out of the top 10 ... the Packers, Raiders, and Lions are all in love with the guy ...

I think the Jets possibly move up to #2 with a deal with the Saints, to take Leinart.

I'd have to agree with Poj, that isn't luck, that's doing your homework...

Edwards was a bust, plain and simple...

Burress, while he has had a decent career so far, to me has not played up to the level someone of his size should have been... In fact, catching a vertical pass is maybe his worst trait....

Hampton is a Pro Bowl stud, 'nuff said...

Simmons is a steady O-linemen...

Polamalu is a prime example of said homework... The Steelers traded up in the draft I believe 7 spots to get him.... And now he is the #1 safety in the NFL (or next to Ed Reed)...

Big Ben IMO was their #2 choice, I think they really wanted Rivers, but something tells me they're happy now (something about a ring)...

Miller is the perfect compliment to their run-first offense....

So yeah, luck ?? Possibly, but there's a helluva lot of good research in there as well...

I still think Vice Young is the real deal coming out..

He flattened all the doubters
in the big dance, made me believe watching him beat OSU
by himself too.

But the media still dogs him.
I dont get it, every time this
guy gets dogged, he proves
them wrong..tests, workouts..

But gametime? this guys a
winner in my book & whoever
gets him,
isnt getting a michael vick,
thats for sure.

they will be getting someone better than a micheal vick
