Holy shit, they go from the worst record in MLB history to No. 1 in the central devision! OK, so they lost to Toronto 11-0, they'll bounce back! I think it was a good idea to have players from the 1984 lineup to be part of the managing and coaching staff. Trammel, Gibson and Parrish have really turned that team around this year.:) Thank god there not the Cubs, at least Detroit wins a World series once in a while. I wish I could say the same for the Lions and Super Bowls.

It'll happen for the Lions, although who can say when. We host the Super Bowl in '06 and anything can happen in today's parity built NFL. Mooch needs a another season to get his guys in there, although Millen may not be around much longer.

Saw the Tigers in '84 kick major ass, the Pistons back to back in '89-'90, and of course, the Wings. So it's got to happen. It's nice to see Detroit sports making a comeback of sorts, in all sports.
