Before the flaming begins, I'd like to say i'm a huge fan of the ALAE album as well as, "Tell The Truth".

But I heard them both on CD back to back... and they sound so similiar it's disguisting...

dave has always "stolen" this and that...but it's more the rhythm how "tell the truth" is sung...the chorus is totally different...it's bluesy and sometimes the blues sounds like the blues...loons?

Yes, and...

I've always thought Last Call sounds like Walk This Way, the way he sings it.

Tell The Truth doesn't sound like Black Velvet...it's a lil' mo' like somethin' Blind Dog Fulton would sing nah...standin' at the crossroads of Highway 49 and 61 yez YEZ YEZZAH...nah it's time...an' it ain't about time...that's fo' sho'...yez yeah...alright nah....play 'em blues, boys...

Got the same vibe, instrumentally.

Lyrics couldn't be farther apart, though.

I'm sure 'Black Velvet' was stolen from something else but I'm too drunk to remember the name of the song.

I would guess that Roth and Alannah 'here today gone later this afternoon' Myles both ripped off the same people.

Like Dave allways says: we steal from everyone and then we call it inspiration.
