The horse was fucking going nuts before the gates...I kept thinking something was wrong...they were just saying he's excited to be in a big race...

and I'm thinking...he looks freaked out...

then he gets in the gates...and busts through...which doesn't happen often...

then gets turned sideways...

sad really...

horses can't stay down for the 2 months they have to to repair the leg...this isn't going to end well...

I read somewhere that most horses with this severe of an injury don't make it off the track...

helps to win a jewel of the triple crown...

Saw this morning that he had a successful surgery but still just a 50/50 chance of survival??
I guess that goes back to him having to stay off the leg for awhile..and millions of bucks in stud fees will keep the gun off your head as well, i guess..
