Ok guys, this is a long shot!

I'm trying to remember who sang a certain song when I was younger!

It was by this scuzzy Motley Crue wannabe band from the late 80's

And all I remember is that there was this gang chorus that said

"NOW YOU'RE JUST-A-MILL-ION

DOLLARS AWAY FROM MY HEART NOW BABY"

There was also another lyric like "money, money, makes the world go round"


I know it's not much to go on, but if anybody knows what it is please let me know!

Damnit, I still haven't found out who did this song!

They sound really sleazy like Crue/ Fasterpussycat, scuzzy and dirty y'know.

Anyone remember Metalhead video Magazine?

Well in volume 1, when Lita Ford is waffling on about something, they do a speeded up section along Sunset Strip and that damn song is playing. That video is 1989/1990 so the song can't be later than that

Big gang chorus

Then there's a slight time change and it kicks into

"MONEY, MONEY, MONEY
Makes the world go around"

I've tried all the lyrics search engines and got fuck all back, excpet a lot of refrecnes to Money from Cabaret!

So you guys and gals are my last resort. Someone with a fairly decent memory of Sunset Strip from the late 80s must remember

They had a song about Money....
