Holy hell! Lets go back in time! Did anyone else where Angel Flight cords or better yet, the Levi-Strauss wide leg cords? Of course you have to have a button down rayon shirt to go with them and a wide ass belt. If you were fancy, you had a big brass belt buckle with your name on it and some platform shoes!

When I was about 10, and was not in control of my own wardrobe.


My mom would not even buy me blue jeans until I was 11 or 12....she just always had visions of me wearing "nice" clothes I guess....while all my friends were wearing jeans and t-shirts in the 4th grade...

Yup. My mom thought jeans were for working on the farm and not for going to school in. I wore cords all through gradeschool through Jr. High. As soon as I got my drivers license, I bought what I wanted at Chess King. LOL! Parachute pants anyone? Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh shit, I wore a checkered shirt, some bandanas Roth style, and black parachute pants at the high school battle of the bands.
