52 Pick Up is very cool.
As well as Less Than Zero! which includes a DAVE song ... BUMP & GRIND!
Another 80's favorite is Cohen & Tate about two thugs that kidnap this kid after they kill his parents right in front of him! To quote TATE after he runs over a dead dog ... "Damn I like the way that sounds!"

I've seen JAWS more times than any other movie so I guess that makes it my favorite. It was one of the first movies that I ever saw and has effected me like no other (still a little uneasy in the water to this day).
Some others

Braveheart
Identity
Scarface (Pacino)
The Godfather 1&2
Amongst Friends
Band of Brothers
American History X
The Usual Suspects
Donnie Darko
The Taking of Pelham 123
Suicide Kings
Killing Zoe
The Professional
The French Connection
The Seven Ups
Pulp Fiction
The Bad Lieutenant
I could go on all day...
