Here's my take on a slightly beaten subject:

Roth...........................................Hag ar(time line upside down sorry)
1985...........................................200 5 Living it up
Crazy From the Heat

1986 ..........................................2004 The Essintial Red Collectio
Eat 'Em and Smile

1988..........................................2003 Live Hallelujah
Skyscraper

1991 .........................................2002 Not for sale
A Little Ain't Enough

1994.........................................2000 Ten 13
Your Filthy Little Mouth

1997..........................................1999 Red Voodoo
Best of David Lee Roth

1998..........................................1997 Marching to Mars
DLR Band

2003
Diamond Dave

Here's My take:

Dave has tunes on his solo albums since leaving VH
that are played everyday on the radio and vids on other types of media.

(I am not going to spend all day typeing the titles out)Dave has Hits GALORE! on his solo albums

Dave has the classic VH book wich is unquestionably 28 or more
tunes that would shake the halls of the Hall of Fame.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hagar has 7 plus albums out any vids..?
Can any one name a tune by hagar on all these albums he's put out since 97..?

So if i am correct the sucsessful career is Dave. Sam had some sucsess
fronting Daves old band and no sucsess since .(2 maybe three good pop rock VH songs, except for the vocalist bad call on the choice of singer)

Who cares about the wobbo bites .?

Why is Sam considered a rocker worthy of praise ?

This is the most lopsided contest in the history of contests.

Dave winner by a knock-out Slam Dunk.In your face Haggarites.!!!

no he brings up a good topic...people like to act like spammy had a way better solo career than dave when it really isnt true... dave had hits and videos and platinum albums...how exactly is that a lack luster solo career.

does anyone remember how in the fall of western civilization 2 they mention dave at least 2 times as being outstanding and that was from 86 to 88....dave wasnt finished after vh as people like to think

Roth On .

Dave after VH ,went on for many years filling venues as large and as often as he did with VH.And as large and often as VHagar .

Hager went straight to the bar band circut ,no nothing, worth seeing.

why does hagar rate playing anywhere, oh yeah, he used to sing for Eddie Van Halen.

Hagar rode in and stayed on Daves coat tales .

Hagar now is rideing on his used to be singer for EDV status .

Brilliant!

I'm amazed that skuse-whatever the fuck his name is hasn't popped his head in to tell us what a "has-been" Dave is, and that he'll dare us to flame his ass.

um...i love solo dave (and there's no question he was a success. 2 platinum LPs, a platinum EP and a gold LP, at least), but are his solo songs really on the air that much anymore? i very occasionally hear yanke rose on the radio. and the golds gym video network occasionally plays california girls. but that's about it.
