I could swear I've seen a cut of this flick where Mario Van Peebles (Jake in the movie) survives and is at the airport at the end of the movie, waving at the plane as Ellen Brody and Hogie take off. And I think I saw this version on tv...anyone else see this?

Also, what the fuck was up with that Geri Jewell sped who guest starred on the Facts Of Life, playing Blair's retarded comedienne cousin?

How Ellen Brody is the one to kill the shark after no one else can, and it actually takes air for her to steer the boat right into it.

I about died laughing when I saw this the first time.

Yo gotta hand it to the franchise, it sped down hill after the first movie.

And the cousin on Facts of Life plays the same character on Deadwood on HBO.

For the record this Turkey of a movie had an alternate ending. The 10 or 15 fans that actually went and watched this farce were outraged that Mario was killed and the powers that be went back and reshot a scene with Mario surviving the attack.

Well, myself and the 14 other fans were very distressed by it...what can I say?

Now I bought the DVD, expecting to see Mario eaten and killed, and it turns out he lives at the end of this version, but ISN'T at the airport at the end.

I remember the last time I saw a glimpse of this movie, on that water platform (or whatever ya call it) where the younger Broady and Jake go diving, it has the Diver Down flags just like on the album.

Gotta love a movie where a fucking shark FOLLOWS the victims to an entirely new part of the world to seek his "revenge"......

They really need to do a special edition DVD that lets you choose which ending you want to watch!

Also I don't think Jaws: The Revenge was the worst film ever... I think Jaws 3D (or simply Jaws 3 once they removed the 3D effects for the home video market) or Superman IV: The Quest for Peace deserve the title of worst movie ever!

Jaws 3-D looks frickin' terrible on tv without the effects, although the effects didn't look all that great in the theater at the time, to be honest.

Superman 4 was a turkey. No doubt.
