So far I have gotten Metallica's entire set as well as Trivium's from youtube.

I must say Trivium has impressed me more than any other new metal bands I have heard lately.

Youtube Rocks!

TheMetallica set was fucking grate. Master Of puppets in it's entirety.

Their new bassist Rob Trujillo kicks motherfucking ass!!!

I first heard him when I bought the very first Infectious Grooves album in the early 90s. Him and Stephen Perkins were on that record and god damn they were fucking hot!

LOL! Here is a fake news item stating the new bassist for Metallica is....well...check it out for yourself:

You might also want to check out his work with Suicidal Tendencies.

The dude's got skills, and he's way too good for Metallica in my opinion.

I hate post-1989 Metallica so very very much.

Good to hear that Metallica kicked ass!

I love Trivium, I just hope all the hype doesn't kill em, if you know what I mean....

Not keen on Trivium. Anything with screaming and not singing puts me right off it.

I tend to agree, but on a musical level I like what they do.

And yes, I know Rob was with ST.

He has been kicking ass for over 20 years now in the public arena.

Robert fits the bill nicely...the spark they need...the dude is a monster on that bass.

Absolutely.

He is the bridge between Cliff (raw talent, finess) and Newstead (power, Mr 100%)

Hell yeah!

I saw Robert with Ozzy back in '96.

He's a good bass player.

However, Cliff will always be Metallica.

CLIFF 'EM ALL.

There are some amazing vids of the Metallica performancec on youtube.

They played all of puppets album!

There isn't a live band in the world that could live with these performances, at least non I've seen in recent years.

Check em out!

I got this on DVD recently.l

They broadcast it on TV I guess.....everything is there but this new song theyhave been playing out....

I will have to go see them next time they come here.

Much as I hate their recent body of work, as a live act they are still shit hot.
