Saved Rock and Roll in the UK where it always seems to be in desperate need of saving.

This band's success in the US/Canada was a huge disappointment, in that it was non-existant.

Me...I like 'em. Was confused by their sound for a while because I was positive they were mocking 80's rock but I've since come around. Still, though, I cant's decide whether I like the singer's voice or not. Ah, well, they're a good bit of fun.

The Darkness rock.

Its a shame their time in the spotlight is fading away.

Van Halen saved rock n' roll!

The Darkness are merely keeping the brain waves moving in a comatose patient.

The Ramones saved rock'n'roll but few people paid attention so it was up to CVH to save the day amid all the disco.

Thank you WARF for sharing again.

I really can't bear the voice, though. Count me out.

The Darkness are a funny one....

It's the vocals I can't live with, to me it makes them sound like a novelty band.

however, they have brought old school Rock N roll into the spotlight again.

MAPRamone, you are spot on!

The Ramones were a truly exceptional band, so simple, yet so brilliant!

too bad that they havent had a hit since a thing called love,

and people compare them to Van Halen which is retarded

I think too many people have thought of them as a novelty, and now the novelty has worn off.

It probably is the vocals. But, Alan, can Justin sing live.

Trust me, I've seen them twice (and will be seeing them again), that guy can SING.
