I seem to remember when people thought he was a good manager...

now...he apparently sucks aholes...

I'm actually curious to see what you all think...

Is it his handling of pitchers?

it it his handling of young players?

or is it the overall pressure of the Cubs...

or the mismanagement of...well...managment?

Curious as to what you all think...

Don't watch Cubs as much ... but with all the injury they've had ... I don't see how he is the problem.

But I am not THAT informed on the Cubs .. they can lose ... no problem for me.

Gotta have one good curse.

lmfao...

that's the article that spurned my discussion here...

If the article...however...would have focused on management...I think they could have easily made a similar case...

Corey Patterson part was the nail for me..
and burning wood & priors arms
out in the playoffs..they've never been the same since.
the nefi perez bs instead of
a young stud from the minors
he dont like young players
on his roster either, pisses me off most.

put a fork in dusty,

dinner time ;)

You can't blame the arm trouble on Dusty...

with Wood it's always been mechanics...

maybe Prior...but c'mon man...

They thought they needed Pierre real bad ... gave up 3 young arms .. and they need arms ... Pierre has 24 bags I believe ... but what else has he done.

Front office, and injuries. I think Baker can do the job.

all year & hes steve stone on the radio stating, dusty was looking for trouble getting every drop outta both of them.
Im not kidding, he said that.
& stoney was a pitcher.lol
dusty deserves no back up,
hes loyal to old dried up players..remember him using
alfonseca in tough situations?
fuck me..
then the dickhead puts
lenny fucking harris in to pinch hit...my ass.
run him outta town already.

coulda kept corey, left him in the 7th hole & got pierre
with murton, coulda been better i dunno..this is my rant fuck it ;)
then they ran out & got troy oleary & doug glanville for the all star break run.
I read the papers, they were
all bakers choice too, he had say in most deals then.

I just cannot believe they did
the same mistake to the same team once again.

Front office, no Hendry got the
job done..baker just cant manage, look at their record..thats all on dusty.
theres no fire Hendrys not in the dugout bro..

If you knew you were going to get fired...

wouldn't you quit...to save some face?

and where will Baker end up?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! We don't want Baker!

Old fart Gillick ought to be shitcanning that senile Manuel NOW! But the guy has some kind of love affair going with Cholly.

Phillies needed to hire Leyland, and didn't ,and look where the Tigers are at.

The Phils are a team that needs to be absolutely dismantled and rebuilt. For some reason the haters have turned on Abreu now as thier #1 whipping boy, which is retarded, considering he's been the most consistent Phil in the last 7-8-9 years....

This team needs to get rid of dead weight and get some LEGIT starting pitching. No more freaking Cory Lidles of the baseball world.
