The Plasmatics and The Cramps were breaths of putrid air during the artsy-fartsy CBGB days. I wasn't actually there...it's all history.

I did have the chance to see the original lineup of The Plasmatics @ Valdosta State College a really long time ago. There's no sensible way to really describe how fucked up that show was. In a nutshell, she threw some watermelons into the crowd, and they shut the show down for awhile.

When they came back out, Butcher Baby sounded like a fucking bomb going off.

Anyone got a copy of the DLR/Wendy O pic?
