Rick Springfield actually had some "cred" years before that shit.
He was in a band in Oz called "Zoot" Their version of Elenor Rigby
was pretty damn cool..

The song seems to be about wanting a reach around from his bass player...:)
Top tip. When miming a song it spoils the illusion a bit if you drop your guitar and run off the stage and the solo keeps playing.
Actually I liked some Rick Springfield stuff, namely Living in Oz. Why he would need to use a Hagar song I have no idea.
