In the latest A Ha news...

a-ha turns up the heat in the UK
2006-08-01 It was mid-July and a stifling heat wave had descended on the UK. a-ha arrived to perform three concerts and the fans showed up in droves to queue outside the venues despite the weather. The band turned up the heat on stage and brought a mini-tour that didn't disappoint.

On Saturday July 15, a-ha performed at Guilfest, a large music festival which included appearances by Gary Neuman, Billy Idol, the Stereo MCs and the Lighting Seeds. Although there were some technical difficulties at the beginning, fans were still very pleased with the set and looking forward to the next day's show in Liverpool.

According to Jon Muir of the Student Gossip Magazine , "And so on the second day, whilst we were nursing our sunburn, Norwegian wonders a-ha proved that they're still golden, but they're definitely not oldies. They treated the expectant masses to a thunderous performance of 'Take On Me', giving every one of us goosebumps (although we all later denied it). Morten Harket showed the Guilfest crowd why a-ha are still making music, with the best display of vocal range and purity seen all weekend."
