So recently they've claimed they are investing most of those profits in research and exploration into alternative energy sources. Looks to me like they all they did was further line some politician pockets so they could do this. I swear there has never been a more blatant corrupt atmosphere of corporate greed and outright illegal actions by any civilization in history. This is just fucking disgusting.

Yeah, let's build a bunch of offshore drilling facilities in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. Let's pollute the water, and further warm it up, IN THE USUAL PATH OF EVERY GODDAMN HURRICANE THAT REACHES THE SHORES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Which will, of course damage said facilities. Causing gas prices to go up again. And Halliburton to get more construction contracts.

At least oil drilling is one issue my corporatist Senator consistently opposes the DLC line on. But then, she IS up for re-election right now too.....

I've tried this line of thinking with him before. He seems to think it is way to hard. Even though I have some biodiesel products I own stock in, easily available. But that would make yet another Republican richer and we just can't have that. That would be lower than just contradicting current beliefs.
