If he really had one of those first generation I-Mac's no wonder he had problems. Those were the second biggest piece of shit ever produced by Apple.

The biggest piece of shit was the first generation Power PC. Talk about your boat anchors.....

I would switch immediately, but I just (6 months ago) spent 1000+ on a new PC. And 1 year ago, I bought a 1500 dollar laptop. If I were to get a mac, I'd buy a low tier Mini.

Hard to deny dual Intel's in Powerbooks or Quad-chip towers.

They are smokin now.

The entry laptop priced right at a grand is a steal. Picked up the PB powerhouse and its still my weapon of choice until next round in January.
