It might be good so I won't say anything yet, but the only thing on there that stands out to me is Lemmy singing Back in the U.S.S.R. The rest doesn't sound that great.

Didn't anyone LEARN anything from that late 1970s cheesefest movie Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band?

Nobody, NOBODY, needs to be covering Beatles shit. EVER. Don't care WHO is doing the covering, or how good it sounds.

That stuff was all done just fine the first time through. You know...by the Beatles?

I'd be interested to hear 1 & 2. Still nothing would get me to actually buy that album.

What happenned here? Did Ronnie the Midget agree to do this song and then back out after his band had already recorded their tracks, forcing them to call in Tate as the DH.

Ronnie probably heard Ozzy's recent butchering of a Beatles track and decided he didnt want to undergo the same fate.

Terry, I reckon you are one of the best posters on this site.
I always read your posts, they are great.

I mostly agree with you here, *except* I always thought there
were a few Beatles tracks that could be "metalized"
If you didnt see the Zoot (old aussie band) playing Eleanor
Rigby, look it up on youtube... Excellent interpretation...
(It was on a recent thread here)

The other song that I always thought Van Halen should
have covered was "Ticket to Ride". That riff was crying out
for Eddie to do his stuff..

I ended up, (just for shits and giggles) arranging that song
how I thought EVH would have played it.. So Im kinda
interested to hear how the following dudes pull it off:

Jack Blades (NIGHT RANGER / DAMN YANKEES) - Vocals
Tommy Shaw (STYX / DAMN YANKEES) - Vocals
Doug Aldrich (WHITESNAKE / DIO) - Guitars
Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE / THIN LIZZY) - Bass
Virgil Donati (STEVE VAI / SOUL SIRKUS / PLANET X) - Drums

Doug Alrich ?? Dont know much about him...
That main Riff from Ticket to Ride sounds
cool through a Marshall with a few pinched
harmonics and hammer ons in the right places...
(In my version)

This has got me curious...

I like AEROSMITHs COME TOGETHER best! I remember riding my bike up to the theater to see the Sgt. Pepper movie!
