I heard that the official bootleg CD of Jeff Beck is on sale as a merchandise on this tour.
it's not "BB KING Blues Club and Grill". it's the new stuff that was recorded a few months ago in the California area.

I want the new live CD. but unfortunately, it's not available on the net.
so, if someone here is supposed to go to his show, please let me know that in advance...

everybody who saw his show lately says his play was unbelievably grate....

I think Jeff Beck was paying the Pechanga Casino in Temecula... that would have been a kick ass show at a kick ass casino!

I keep missing him - by "keep" I mean that I had a chance to see him with Stevie Ray Vaughan in 1990; missed it. Had a chance to see Beck two other times: missed those. Want to catch him when he comes to Florida this time around, but I probably can't.

Gotta do it next time around (for sure, dat!).

Jeff Beck is the shit live. I've seen him 3 times and he's just jaw-dropping when he's into it.

Uh, I meant the Pala casino which is south of Temecula. I knew it was one of those Injun places.

I fuckin' dropped the ball on that one, big time...

Probably the ONLY show I ever passed on that I still regretted not seeing. 'Specially since Beck was touring behind Guitar Shop at the time, and had Bozzio out there playing drums with him.

I would have hooked you up if I saw this before the show. He kicked ass in Clearwater. Shit he REALLY kicked ass!! The crowd was giving him standing O's the entire show. Outrageous tone!

I only looked at the merch area real quick as I walked by. I didn't see any CDs for sale, but I didn't look very hard. Cool Tshirts though.

I agree. No other guitarist can compete with Jeff on stage when he's "into it". That said, I was disappointed with his Live at BB King Blues Club, he often sounds like he wants to get rid of the tunes.
His set at Montreux in 2001 is so far above it. I think it's the stuff he should have released instead.

How lucky!

He's so amazing because of his attitude as well. Playing like that in an almost offhand way. He's just incredible.

One of my pals kept my VHS of the 2001 Montreux gig and was supposed to transfer it on DVD. He gave it back to me months after, just saying that... it would have taken him too long!
So I'll try to do it myself and, unless it is already available on a bootleg DVD, I will share it at the Boot Corner.

Actually, the first time I saw Jeff Beck was the MS benefit concerts in 1984 with Clapton and Jimmy Page. Clapton had Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, Joe Cocker, and several other name musicians, Page had Paul Rogers singing for him (when they came up with the idea of The Firm), and Jeff Beck blew them all away. Clapton's gone soft, Page was sloppy drunk, and JB has never dropped his game ever in his career.
