Thanks a lot Jack!

But I'm disappointed. It doesn't sound like the Who's music IMO, safe as far as Roger's voice.

"Live at Lyon"... Some of my friends were there, and they said it was huge. The best gig they'd ever been to, even - they've been to many, though.

I just can't see the point in these tunes, except for the lyrics maybe.

Not terrible.

Meh.

Really haven't had much use for what Pete's come up with since All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes, and the last Who album that was consistently excellent was Quadrophenia (although about half of The Who By Numbers and a quarter of Who Are You were up to snuff). Neither of these tracks change my mind.

However, they still do some decent stuff live, far as bands flogging a memory/picking at a corpse go...haven't heard anything live since Entwistle died, but long as Starkey is still on drums, I'd imagine it'd still be a good show.

Last week Roger & Pete were on Letterman.

He announces them "Ladies & Gentlemen, The Who!".

I expected a full band, but the curtains parted and there was Roger with Pete on acoustic guitar.

They sang some song about Arabs in a purple dress.

It was nice to see them, but the song was boring in my opinion.
