Yeah, Sonny and the rest wrote the book after they were fired only because Elvis wasn't paying them anymore, so they found a way to cash in on him even while they weren't working for him. Elvis was just pampered and indulged too much. All the warning signs were there, and he clearly didn't give a shit about himself anymore, but someone around him should have cared a bit more.
