Legendary Texas guitarist Billy Gibbons is trading in his guitar strap for an apron. The recent separation with long-time producer Bill Ham, and Warner Brothers label was nothing more than an "amicable parting of ways" according to the blues rock stalwart.

"At this point, the only thing important to me is securing the legacy of ZZ TOP. Negotiations are ongoing, and new output will be here sooner than later. Yeah....the new dip is killer. I'd like to think most everyone familiar with ZZ TOP likes barbecue. Most people don't know about avacados though. I want to change that with my dip."

The Gibbons movement for advocado awareness.

If his separation with WB was an amicable parting, then why does he have to market dip?

She's got dip.
She knows how to use it.

When the food is so so the condiments make it better.
I guess these music guys are applying that rationale to themselves.

If you have ever seen the inside of the original gatefold sleeve from ZZ Top's "Tres Hombres" album, then you know that the Reverend Billy G. loves his Mexican food. I'd bet he could make a kickass guacamole.
