I saw Yngwie open for AC/DC back in 1985 and he opened with this song. The rest of the set was a total instrumental wank fest. I was actually grateful when his set was over. I'll take Angus over him ANY day.

Yngwie's instrumental yankfest vs. hearing 20+ AC/DC songs that all sound like just the one before it...pot, meet kettle...

A fix for this?
Try listening to Sleep's Jerusalem album in it's entirety while staring at some random object the whole time. You'll look at Yngwie in a whole new light, trust me. :)

Sounds boring.
I don't have the money for a new record so... Fuck that.

Well, Jerusalem is a one song album (song is called Jerusalem, conveniently), about 60 minutes, and it's pretty much three power chords, feedback and a handful of lyrics. A few drum beats. Not much else. Probably the most boring album I've ever heard in my life. Just to keep "real" boredom in perspective, lmao.

I forgot about him...
Yngwie was on fire at that time...
