The Rutles rock! I think the woman playing the queen also played queen in The Man With The Naked Gun. Is that Bianca Jagger in the champagne drinking scene?

To me... George IS the Beatles. When you listen to a John or Paul Solo song, it soung like John or Paul but when you listen to a george Harrison song... it sound s like the beatles. George was the backbone of the beatles!

I got so fucking close to meeting this guy.
Seriously, I was working with a computer company that
serviced all the PC's on the Tropical Island in North QLD
where George lived for many years...
Unfortuantely for me, it never happened.
But I did get to speak to a lot of "little people" that
worked on that island, and they said he was
awesome. So down to earth you couldnt believe he
was a part of the biggest band ever.

He would drag his acoustic guitar down and just
join in with whoever was playing at the resort..
Small time dudes with backing tracks, that kind
of shit.. Then hang out with everyone ..

Another GH story too, there is a guitar shop
in Sydney "Jacksons Rare Guitars" and he
would regularly visit there..
(Awesome guitars there, 65 gibsons/fenders etc)
but ouch !!! fookin 20k for some of the guitars.
But the dudes who run that shop said exactly the
same thing... Just a normal down to earth bloke...

I think his masterpiece was "Something".....

But theres so many great songs..

Wished I could have jammed with him !

Cheer down with Clapton in japan on his short tour.I love the fact he only did the tour to take his mind off of smoking.
