wow..Unbelievable how they won't listen to their viewers...

One is to notice how much "Van Halen" and "Roth" are mentioned as well..:D...I think they're a huge reason MTV got big in the first place..No one would've honestly would've wanted to watch 12 hrs. of Elvis Costello videos (no offense to the guy..But his audience was very small, in comparison to CVH)..And no Hagar mention as well..No one in their right mind was clammoring to see "VOA" or any of that shit..But everybody and their brothers wanted to see the "Oakland '81" vids..

Just unbelievable how far down the shitter MTV has gone..

Just can't be bothered with MTV. Think it was around 1994 or so that I realized, "Hey, these fuckers ain't showing videos anymore." Also, by that point I had pretty much lost interest in much of the music being put out by newer artists anyway, so just didn't matter to me if I saw promo videos for the same.

VH1 Classic is the way to go.
