I was going back listening to old podcasts and I find this one interesting from last June.

I'm no expert on US politics but it seems to be accurate.

O'Donnell's a DLC type so I don't agree with him all the time, but he's a smart guy and the McLaughlin Group (PBS) is usually a better show when he's on it, battling Pat Buchanan and the Moonie shill Tony Blankley.

I definitely do NOT agree with the DLC talking point about Democrats running "as conservative as possible", and it pisses me off that he seems to laugh off election fraud (as do many DLC'ers) but aside from that, he makes some decent points.

Though I didn't want Kerry as a candidate in 2004 and want him even less in 2008, O'Donnell's statement about the Democrats dumping candidates who barely lost (or maybe didn't actually lose at all) is right on.

Reagan got his ass kicked by Jerry Fucking Ford in the 1976 primary, but that didn't keep him from coming back in 1980.
