I come from a conservative Republican community and boy are many pissed at the arrogance of the current Republicans in power and now insider sources saying the Bush Administration made fun of their evangelical supports behind their backs adds fuel to the fire.
Many Republicans put their constitutional rights ahead of everything. What many of these people see is the Bush Administration and the GOP Congress has erroded those more than any other group of politicians in US history.
Pissed and feeling ripped off many will vote Democrat to break the Republican hold on power. They might not have any real love for the current Democrats but the GOP has proven itself dangerouse and worthless. We are in a fighting war to keep our Constitutional rights and war makes strange bedfellows. You might see some people voting Democratic in the next two election that in the past that would be the last thing they would do.
What I'm saying here is Bush has been such a dissaster he has managed to freeze hell over.
