Will this make the princ look even more bad because of his position as opposed to the standard teacher?

You'd be amazed at the amount of principals who don't know how to carry out effective behavior management.

They so should have it that you need X-amount of classroom teaching in order to be a principal.

Wow, hadn't thought of that.
Very thoughtful, Ally.

What eva! Remember when the principle had a big ass piece of wood they used to "paddle" some of us ...uhum... rowdy little kids. Now this kind of fun play shit ends up on the news. I remember when the janitor threw me in the trash and pushed me down the hall when he was collecting all the trash from the classrooms. My friends thought that was the shit and wished they were cool like me. Now days??? Whoa....Please, maybe some of these gun sneakin' teacher/student killing little fuckers need some adult reinforcement from someone, as they don't get it from home anymore! Pussy liberials once again!

My Mom. has been a teacher for 35 years, in the 50's, 60's, 70's... until 86.

Back in the days, teachers could tell a child what to do in school (not the other way around) and demand obedience.
The ultimate goal of a teacher was TO TEACH... not TRY to discipline, 99.9% of the time and worry about law suits for using the wrong words, etc...
The kids had to respect the authority and that was preparing them for the real world out there...

Now, teachers get burned out and abused by the school boards, the parents and the kids!

My Mom. had always LOVE teaching but she sais that in these days... she would probably chose another career...

I think that we are lucky to still have people that want to study and get into that profession... if society continues like that, we won't have anyone interested in that anymore!
