Found this kinda cool. Don't know much about Deborah Pryce. Here are the first 2 paragraphs from a recent article. Link is included if you want to read the rest (kinda lengthy).

GOP incumbents use tough underdog tactics
By Patrick O'Connor

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rep. Deborah Pryce (R-Ohio) mounted a flatbed truck outside a downtown office building last week with a bullhorn in hand and Van Halen blaring to challenge her Democratic opponent to a debate.

Her opponent, Mary Jo Kilroy, was miles away at the time, but the stunt is another example of the guerrilla tactics Pryce has embraced this fall as she fights for her political life. Such campaign tactics are usually employed by challengers, not senior leadership officials.

How exactly can the party that has controlled (and destroyed) everything for the last 6 years claim to be "underdogs"???

Got me. I just thought the Van Halen reference was cool. I did a search for Van Halen on Yahoo news and found this. The only problem with her approach is that Democrats like Van Halen just as much as Republicans. One of the very few issues that has truly bipartisan support.
