Not too many Focke Wulfs or M 109 fighters left. That one is in great shape. It will be worth millions when it's restored.

They've brought quite a lot of planes out of lakes over here..

I looked at more pictures of it. It came up with starfish and anenemes so it was in salt water. That may pose a huge problem in restoration. Planes kept in cold fresh water or ice can be restored but salt water means lots of corrosion.

The Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio has the only flyable Focke Wulf 190 left in the world. It's a rare plane since most were destroyed fighting the war. The Luftwaffe took a real slaughtering by the time the war was winding down.
