I had a WONDERFUL birthday at the bar in today's wee hours of the morn. Took me 3 years of bar-hopping and attending backyard parties, but I finally found my limit, found the limits of my friends, and we crossed them. Made friends with the happily wasted guy at the bar who was also celebrating his birthday (47. He was such a nice guy), watched 3 different type of sporting events (a hockey game, a football game, and some billiards thing. We actually, for the fuck of it, started cheering at the pool match, because the turned off the football game for it. Makes so much sense, right? And no, I have no clue who was playing, if it was a reairing, or what channel it was on), and played bathroom tag. Got home at 4. Rejoined the land of the living at 11. Not half bad.

With all the shit going on around here by me, I needed that night out. Now I'm hoping someone springs out a birthday cake, altho I'm doubting it.
