He is good.
Don't get him where I am, but from what I've heard I'd listen.
thanks, Roy

Actually, he retired this past summer. I was a LOYAL listener and have a bunch of his shows on cd. He's been doing some television projects but I really hope he comes back to radio. The reason he left was because he couldn't stand big-time radio execs. He also thought he was worth more money which I totally agree with.

He had so many characters that were just outrageous. He could fool people into calling in every night. He's the best.

FYI...Stern practically worships Phil Hendrie. Whenever Stern was in LA for something he would always call Phil and ask if he could sit in and watch his show in the studio.

Speaking of Stern...

This is a fucking classic bit of audio from a Hendrie show in which he is doing 3 voices all at once. He's doing Art bell, Gen. Johnson Jamison, and Adloph Hitler. At the end there is a reference to Howard Stern. FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!

I was unaware of that Re: Stern/Hendrie, neat.

Hendrie was/is awesome. It was a sad day when he left radio. Fortunately I have several tapes of him. He's a genius.
