:(

THE man who designed cartoon canine Scooby-Doo died yesterday after a heart attack.

Animator Iwao Takamoto, 81, also designed characters on such shows as The Flintstones and The Jetsons.
Takamoto died in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for respiratory problems.

He designed Scooby-Doo, his equally cowardly master, Shaggy, and their pals Velma, Daphne and Fred in the late 1960s while working at the Hanna-Barbera animation studio.

Scrappy Doo sucked ass! I liked the ones with the whole gang, and minus the annoying Scrappy Doo. He ruined that cartoon!

The celebrity episodes tended to be lame as well.

Scooby Doo sucked major balls. They weren't even funny.

The Jetsons were boring as hell.

The Flintstones kick arse, though.

Oh well... one out of three ain't shite.

Cheers! :bottle:

I like the dirty version of those cartoons on the internet. Every nasty thought you had as a kid someone in Japan has drawn.

I'm not sure he had this in mind when he drew up the flinstones.

That is a good way of putting it! He sucked all the life out of that cartoon, like Hagar sucked the life outta VH!

My kids love Scooby-Doo.
I never liked the Jetsons or Scrappy-Doo either.

The Flintstones were great.
