Who are your idols?

Ok, we all spend an unbelievable amount of time discussing who are musical idols are, but what about people from other walks of life?

Who inspires you? Who changed your life? Who seems so damn good at something it inspires you with awe? Or maybe they're just so damn cool that pu worship them!

Could be an author, sportsperson, actor or fucking anyone.

Doesn't even have to be anyone famous, could just be someone in your life.

Honestly? And this isn't being partial, but growing up Eddie and Dave were my absolute idols (hence the avatar). No other two musicians had more posters on my walls. Ace Frehley rounds out the top 3.

As for actors (though I wouldn't call them idols), I always loved Pacino. I think Sean Penn is a phenomenal actor when he's not preaching what he thinks about EVERYTHING. Just shut the fuck up and act.

EVH was a big influence on me and my guitar playing but I do not idolize him or anyone.

For me it was EVH and Dave. Then Randy Rhoads and George Lynch. I was trying to think of a non-musical hero, can't come up with one off the top of my head besides my dad, I guess...:rolleyes:
