As if "Snakes on a Plane" weren't bad enough

Who will bet the media will blame the movie "Snakes on a Plane" inspired someone to sneak a scorpion on board? I don't see how a scorpion could just crawl on board.

I wonder what procedures the airline didn't follow to ensure consumer safety.
