Bush has spent $400 billion of US tax payers money on the war in Iraq and about $2 billion on rebuilding what's left of it.

If he had reversed that and put even $200 billion into rebuilding what would have happened?

Cheers!

Another 20 Billion would have wound up unaccounted for and in the pockets of private contractors.

and a lot of american crap like KFC and McDonalds and Wal Mart throughout Bagdad, with the occasional bombs going off in them.

Sad, but true.

Or not spending the money by invading Iraq, and instead using that money to fund homeland security, infrastructure, and to research alternative fuel sources....

yeah, but once the invasion happened; once the existing iraqi government was taken out, it was pretty much a guarantee that there was going to be sectarian fighting.

rebuilding infrastructure is great and definitley necessary, but it doesn't do much good if the warring factions just promptly blow it up.

(which is to say why this entire endeavor was obviously very poorly planned from the beginning...)

Occasional but most of the people would be working in construction and wouldn't have time to blow stuff up.:)

And therein lies the rub.....

Did BushCO enlist out of work and hungry IRAQIS to rebuild their own country???

OR

Did BushCO spend the money on US Private Contractors to rebuild and run off with an unaccounted for 9 BILLION TAX DOLLARS?

Is anyone surprised they blow this shit up?

BushCO is corrupt and stupid.

Those in here who still support BushCO [asspipe, ultrafag, et al] are just as stupid.
