"...Dunham noticed that the enemy fighter had a grenade in his hand, and ordered his Marines to move back as he wrestled the insurgent to the ground. The enemy dropped the live grenade and without hesitating Dunham took off his Kevlar helmet, covered the grenade with it, and threw himself on top to smother the blast..."

Bush called for more sacrifice in his speech. Is Bush still having whipped cream on his strawberries?

Geezuz, then look what the media goes and posts. This pic has been circulating on the net today. It's about as flattering as the the one they circulated about him having to POO!

Alright, let's here the remarks from the LEFT about his insincerity and jokes about the real reason he's crying. I'm sure everyone knows EXACTLY how he feels.

"Tears run from the eyes of U.S. President George W. Bush during a ceremony in honor of Medal of Honor winner Marine Cpl. Jason Dunham in the East room of the White House in Washington, January 11, 2007. Cpl. Dunham was killed when he jumped on a grenade to save fellow members of his Marine patrol while serving in Iraq. Chimpy's not crying because a Marine sacrificed himself. He's crying because he knows that even his own party isn't buying this "surge" horseshit and that his game is just about over. Yet the ones who forced him into this shit (Likud PNAC Zionfascists) won't let up on him either. Not to mention Daddy and his friend Jim Baker openly calling him out.

Hell, I'd almost feel sorry for the bastard if he hadn't spent the last 6 years systematically destroying this country.

Btw, didn't Bush mock the death of Marines by sarcastically asking Sen. Jim Webb "How" his "son was doing?" (After several Marines in his unit were ambushed and killed, yeah, Texas ANG boy feels their pain...)

The Mission will be accomplished when that bastard is finally out of office. What a tool. He finally fired Rumsfeld after the voters took his rubber stamp in the congress away and now he's back to his "I'm the decider" bullshit. I bet the fucker will live in a foriegn country after he's out of office. Maybe not, he's universally hated around the world. I hope people boo him wherever he goes the rest of his life. What a shitbag president. How could a president be any worse?

I remember how he loved to send death row prisoners to their executions. In an interview he was almost giddy about it. That rubbed me wrong. I believe in the death penalty but we are talking about human beings with families. I thought Bush's demeanor was tottaly unproffesional as a govenor who was about to sentance sevral people to their deaths.

That should have been a tell tell sign. The guy is egotistical and doesn't have the respect for human life as most decent people do. Very few people would take pleasure in sentancing people to death. W. seemed to love it.

True, he's a callous manipulative cunt. But his stilted "Christian" view makes him "always right."

Tell me, if Bush cares so much about the troops his incompetence has killed, then why is he using them as human shields to his "legacy," and just biding time for the next two years so partisan fuckwit Republicans can try to pretend the "Democrats lost Iraq?"

Everyone with the slightest amount of sense knows this has been a predictable clusterfuck.

The Iraq Study Group issues almost ten courses of new, possible action; and of course Bush chooses the one where he can pretend that ultimate victory is obtainable (but not with the tens of thousands of troops they suggested, because we don't have them)...

Jason Dunham

http://www.randomhouse.com/broadway/giftofvalor/art/gallery/Cpl.JasonDunhamstickshisto.jpg

"...The helmet did help blunt the explosion — and saved the lives of others. But Dunham suffered serious injuries from flying shrapnel. Eight days later, he died from his wounds."

http://www.randomhouse.com/broadway/giftofvalor/art/gallery/TheRemainsofCpl.JasonDunha.jpg

"His was a selfless act of courage to save his fellow Marines," said Sgt. Maj. Daniel A. Huff, sergeant major for 3rd Battalion 7th Marine Regiment. "This generation of Marines is as good as any generation we've ever had in the Corps."

I was on to him by 99' as to what a total Rovian douche he was --with his slash-and-burn tactics on "angry" Sen. John McCain and his "black daughter" and his "druggie" wife (irony on that one!) during the Republican primaries...

He certainly was a couragous Marine and died like a man.

If you feel inspired by this vh'er, I suggest you read "Flags of Our Fathers" by James Bradley about the US Marines on Iwo Jima...

Supposedly, Jenna & Tonic's recent South American adventure wasn't all just a drunken vacation for the twin twats. The Bushettes were rumored to be checking out a large piece of property in Paraguay.

Which, by the way, has no extradition treaty with the US.

So, just as Grandpa Prescott's friends, the original Nazis are said to have run off to South America after WWII, it would seem that Chimpy is planning a similar escape scenario for the BCE after World War III.

I was watching MSNBC the other day and they had Ret. COL Jack Jacobs commenting on CPL Dunham's ceremony, being a MOH awardee himself....

He said that it was the most offensive Medal of Honor ceremony he'd ever seen. Instead of being a solemn, private moment where they honored the soldier and the family, they instead used it as a public relations opportunity, announcing all the Congressmen and other federal officials in attendance.

Not surprised, unfortunately. Everything's been a photo-op for these bastards since the day Chimpy stood on the rubble of the WTC with a megaphone in his hands, promising to "get the people who knocked down them buildings".

Which he never did.
