Gordon Lightfoot is to Canadian songwriting as what Dylan is to American songwriting. A legend. This clip is from the 1986 Juno Awards of Gordon recieving a lifetime achievment award. Anne Murray does the intro . Dylan is a complete self absorbed space cadet here. He seems like he was teleported there from planet Bob.
Reads his cue cards , rolls clips , introduces Gordon , clunks award around on the podium and splits. A real class act.:rolleyes:
Gord does'nt seem too impressed. Seems there was vast amounts of alchohol consumed previously by all.
Unfortunately Lightfoots acceptance speech is cut short.
