Just wanting to introduce myself. My name is Brian and I've been a VH fan on and off for around 23 years.

My favorite albums are in this order:

Fair Warning
VH
1984
VHII
5150
WACF
F.U.C.K
Balance
Diver Down
OU812
Van Halen III

I'm mainly a classic VH fan, but I do listen to the Hagar stuff mainly for Eddie because he and Satch are my two favorite tech guitarist.

Welcome. Heads up though...you're gonna get more shit than a chili cookoff porta-john for placing ANY Hagar era before Roth era in your list. Be prepared, and hope you have thick skin.

ROTH ON!!!!!!!!!

lol it changes daily.

Heck, I even listen to SOME VHIII.

I just got banned from vhlinks for attacking Sammy. I'm no Sammy lover by an part of the imagination.

One of the least creative rockstars ever. All he does is provide background fodder.

lol. I really must have p!ssed him off. He made it his goal to sit online and ban me everytime I tried to sign up again.

The first time he banned me last year it ticked me off. Now it's funny because that board has went way down the tubes anyway.

I'm an EVH fan first. It's amazing how they react anytime something bad is said about Sammy.

I asked them to name me one thing Sammy has truly done in his career that was original.

Couldn't do it. They just insisted that I was crazy and it was all downhill from there.

I signed up here a few months ago, but I don't think I ever posted and I forgot my login name and everything.

tip
you might want to pick up a bootleg of the 82 Hide your Sheep tour or a South American 83 tour before ranking DD under any SPAMMY album........

Lol. I started listening to the band in 86, but I heard my first VH song earlier than that. Thanks to my older brother.

The first song by the band that I ever heard was Ice Cream Man.

A bout Diver Down... I enjoyed most of the songs other than Hang Em High, Big Bad Bill and Happy Trails.

Those three songs really drug the album down for me.

Your ID will be obsolete next year.

You will be required to re-register under the name halenfan26.

halenfan27 is already spoken for, so you will be required to sit out a year.

Just letting you know.

:gulp:

God, I feel sorry for you.You really did miss out. There's no band out there that compares to what they brought to the table.I mean,a website full of folks that have waited 22 + years to bring that magic back? You won't find this many people waiting for G-n-R to regroup!
There's a reason-go to youtube and get as much CVH as you can. Then come back and tell me which one is the ROCK band-VH or Van Haggar.:killer:

I have some stuff. I have maybe close to 100 songs which includes demo's and such.

I have most of the music video's, some wallpapers and for some reason I even bought BOBW.

I was sad that Ice Cream Man, Mean Streets, Hear About it Later and Top Jimmy wasn't on it though.

Other than VH I listen to:

Jill Scott, Van Hunt, Marvin Gaye, Early Aero, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller Band, James Brown, Spencer Davis Group, Led, Santana, The Stones, Satch, Prince, Ozzy, Los Lonely Boys, Living Colour, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, B.B King, The Black Crowes, Guns n Roses, CCR, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Dire Staits, Eric Clapton, Jackson Browne, The Jeff Healy Band, Jimi, The Kinks, Lenny Kravitz, Mother's Finest, Otis Redding, The Police, Pink Floyd, Queen, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, Seal, The Scorpions, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Velvet Revolver, Young Heart Attack and Earth, Wind, and Fire.

That's most of what I listen too.

Mother's Finest is probably the only band I like more than VH though.
