The adult revue "X" co-producer Angela Sampras tells The Las Vegas Sun that she and partner Bobby Boling are not looking to incorporate former VAN HALEN frontman David Lee Roth into their existing show, as the paper had earlier reported. "We are creating a whole new show for David," Sampras said. And regarding Roth's poorly received 1995 Bally's headline gig? "That was not the right time for David to appear on the Strip," Sampras said. "Now, with our creative genius and his talent for comedy, I think we can have yet another hit show."

Dave told me on the phone last night that he is thinkin about this and he is writing some new lines and thinking about which tunes to include tunes for the gig there will be surprises.
He really wants to do it,its like his dream being rat pack artist.
maybe he will make a couple of seasons all depending on the audience responding,he hasn't planned a date yet its all a project.
About a new album he promised hear the new demos lying on the
restroom sent by john 5 and other writers.

Vegas will bomb. Not because Dave wont give 100% and be as entertaining as a mother-fucker, but because Vegas is commercialized and Dave is not. 80% of the world doesn't "understand" Dave the way his true fans do. Whatever he ends up doing, I will, of course, support it. :)

People say that his 1995 show failed but you know what it was a blessing in disguise. Have you all noticed how nothing good comes from Vegas ie Wayne Newton, Tony Orlando, Celine Dion, Fat Elvis, hundreds of Mike Tyson boxing scandals, Donald Trumps hair, Penn and Teller, and those guys with the lions i forgot their names. one of them got mauled by a lion? If Dave had stayed longer doing his shows his name would be forever branded with that Cheese Factor tag and he would forever be remembered with all those other people.
