I just shaved my head

After twenty odd years of having long hair I woke up this morning and decided to shave my hair off.

You know what?

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

I thought I would break down and cry once I has done it but it was quite liberating.

Less shampoo, more razors.

My head shines.

It`s cold as well.

It takes a lot of courage for one to go from long to nothing!
It's not only hair that goes (usually)... it is a whole lifestyle and era that you say goodbye to!

BUT;

I remember when my husband first shaved from shoulder lenght...
First, I couldn't look at him for a couple hours, soon I got used to it, now... I love it!
He's lucky he has a beautifuly shaped head.

A shave head is a kissable head and with the right razor gage, it can be really soft on the ladie's skin...

Plus, I envie that "wash and go" deal!

Well, my wife got home from work and she hates it.

No, really bad.

My kids freaked when they got home from school but they seen to have come around to it although they want me to grow it back.

I think I will grow it back.

It`ll be like being a teenager again.

(But without the spots and the attitude problem)

I went for a shower and I was done in two minutes.

I no longer need brushes or bobbles to tie my hair back at work.

If you go to just skin and no stubble, when you shower, the water bounces off of your head and can get everywhere. Just a heads up. And keep a ski cap close by the bed.

I had hair about half way down my back a few years ago. Tried to trim it because it was getting ugly (Split ends and shit)

Everything I did made it look worse, so finally I said "fuck it" and took it ALL off.

Where the courage part came in then, was actually leaving the house with my new look. It took me a day or two before I actually did.

Shocked the Hell out of people who knew me. Scared the Hell out of those who didn't. Unfortunately, there's always the small percentage of people who are going to assume you worship Hitler just because you're bald, so I think I got a few solidarity "SIEG HEIL's" from the local skinheads. I saluted them right back...... with one finger.

If it was about 30 degrees warmer right now, I'd probably do it again though.

Long hair never worked for me. I look like Zakk Wylde and it drives me nuts. I bought a Wahl trimmer one time and said what the hell and cut all my hair off.

You have to do it at least once in your life or you haven't lived.

Badguy, took me 2-3 years to grow mine back real long
again..

That was a big decision, If I was going to do it, I would
go halfway first.. That way you can go long again
in less time, or cut it all off, if nobody freaks out....
