I Pmed a few of you aboot this, but it's all taking too long, so I'll just do it here.

I've had the idea of creating a Sheep Pen DVD, where the Pen Admins compile a list of their favourite DLR/CVH clips.

PM me with your favourites.

My boot list isn't overly excessive, so I may be needing you to send the clips to me.

Thanks.

I think I'm in on this.

Am I in the Pen?

Not right now...

I have a few ideas for clips...

Can I call something from Montreal '84? I have to go through my boots.

We could make this a great DVD...

Let's see...among my favorite moments is the shot from 1979, live, opening up with Dance the Night Away...shows the band arriving prior to the show, harmonizing in the dressing room...um, that user rothkill has the part where Dave's mouth is gaping into the camera...that stuff, I don't know the date or anything though.

I also think some '81 footage would be worthwhile, in addition to a condensed Dave rant from the U.S. festival in '83 when they were having the sound problems and Dave was killing time keeping the audience amused...

Yeah, actually, a lot of what Bob described is what I was also thinking. I love that harmonizing backstage moment from the '79 footage. Van Halen, young and definitely a band on the same page.

I think Montreal is classic 1984 footage.

Definitely some US Festival footage (including Dave's backstage interview).

BEER DRINKERS AND HELL RAISERS from South America.

Much more...

You can limit it to the number of people with regular bowel movements at the Army.

Which is to say, regular Pen & Dump posters.

Does anyone have the 81' Oakland show???

I don't want to hear about it later-live.
