Has anyone out there heard this bootleg: Van Halen Live in Indiana July 1984?

Might have a different name but if you know anything about it ie sound quality, performance etc and how it compares to other shows from that tour let me know.

Thanks

I have "Big Bad Dave Goes Home" from that show...it's a decent boot but not the best.

I have several of the 1984 boot recordings, and as a whole they are excellent. I reviewed that exact bootleg many a moon ago for my boot site when I was hosted right here at dlrarmy back in '99 - '2000

I believe that particular bootleg is A minus in sound quality.

Read the info here (http://www.sharingthegroove.org/msgboard/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=18)
It pretty much explains everything you need to know, including links to all the required software.

A bootleg of Diamond dave goes home recently sold on eBay UK for about 30 dollars what do you make of that?

What I make of that it that whoever sells bootlegs has low moral character, and whoever bought it I feel sorry for, as they obviously don't know of any other method of acquiring boots. I also bet that it's a shitty CD-R copy and likely has burning errors.

I think you're right, but with Classic Van Halen there is a huge demand out there and some people are willing and maybe foolish enough to pay bucket loads for it.
I can't imagine anyone paying the same amount for a bootleg show of Van Hagar though. But then again.....

Thanks guys. I got hold of this show recently and it's good, though I've heard better shows. The guitar solo is one of the best I've heard Eddie play. When he's on form no one comes close.
