it's a Schenker thing.
given his tour cancellation history.
We lost in the US due to some management BS that landed on his site.

Fuck Schenker! With Uli Jon Roth on board the tour doesn't need Nutboy anyhow.

Uli Roth is one cool motherfucker, one of my very favorite guitar players. He can pull off a pretty complicated lead and make it seem effortless. He's amazing as long as he ain't singing.

I think that's the unwritten rule of guitar players who go solo!

I don't think he'll pull oot of his brother's bands tour.

Rudolph doesn't look like someone I'll want to mess with.

If this happens, I'm gonna have to do some major persuading: Mrs binnie did not care for the Scorps performance when they opened for Priest (I know, it was PHENOMENAL), largely because of Klaus' shirt.

Seriously.......

I'm sure I'll be able to convince her to go...

Solo? He was singing while he was in the Scorpions. I'm not sure why with a great singer like Klaus on board.

As much as I hate his voice, a couple of my favorite Scorpions tunes have him on lead vox. "Dark Lady" from '75's In Trance album is my very #1 bestest fave.

LOL!

I was at the same show as you and thought they were a lot better than Priest.

There is a lot of great material that Fucking Rocks from the 70's by the Scorpions. Uli Roth is the main reason why I picked up a guitar!!!

Easier to just buy two tickets and say you were thinking of going with some girl you met in a Dave Lee Roth forum.

1. If Mikey actually makes it, it would be a miracle.

2. I have to laugh because every single tour he has an almost entirely different lineup. Seems yer average musician won't tolerate his bullshit for more than a year or so.

Indeed...

But, it should be kewl to see him jam with the scorps.

Having said that, I've seen no official confirmation of this yet.

ALAN, I hope it's true.

He seems to have the worst personality in Germany and that's up against some pretty tough opposition...

What a player.
He kicked ass when he played with the Scorps.
One of EVH's main influences.

Never been a fan of his voice actually. It's not as bad as a lot of guitar players who go solo, but I've always thought his albums would benefit from a permanent singer.

Amazing guitar player tho...

I like his voice,it goes well with his style of guitar.A full time singer may sound good with him as you say but i dunno to me i think it just amplifies his talent the fact he can play such complex guitar and sing aswell.I have alot of respect for him.As a guitarist myself i know it is pretty dam hard playing and singing
