So I was talking to my buddy and telling him what I was making for dinner -- Mac and Cheese. Not that box kind either; The full-on make the pasta, have a few layers of cheese, whole shabang.

Everything seemed alright until I pondered outloud if I had enough ketchup for when they family would come to dinner.

That's when the great debate began.

Apparently, in my buddy's universe, it is weird to put ketchup on mac and cheese. I said it was completely normal.

So let's vote, bitches. Ketchup: yay or nay?

Nay?

But only because I have not tried it.

I'll make a box, try it with ketchup on it, and get back to you.;)

Alright Ally_Kat,

I tried it and it was not bad. I will not have it with ketchup every time, but I can see doing it once in a while. ;)

With catsup.

Mac N' Cheese without it is too bland.

Try this:

1 cup melted Philadelphia brand cream cheese with 1 TBSP of crushed red pepper, 1/2 TBSP of paprika, and one egg white. Mix ingredients to desired consistency, and spatulize topically before baking the mac & cheese casserole. As far as the ketchup goes, to each his/hers own!!

Ketchup? Catsup? No way! Although rustoffa's recipe sounds kinda interesting. But without ketchup of course.

Nope. No mac and cheese and no ketchup for me. I hate 'em both. Yes, I'm aware that I'm strange. I've been told so many, many times.

Now the real test is asking a little kid. My eight-year old loves both, but she doesn't put ketchup on her mac and cheese. Perhaps it's merely because she hasn't thought of it yet. She does, however, put it on her broccoli.

I like mine with Mad Anthony's Hot Sauce.

I down it with a bottle of Cabo Wabo and chase that with Smoking Loon.

I'm also masturbating while I do this.

And thinking about Savicki.
