Woah... forgot about that Big Audio Dynamite song... classic...

I'm addicted to 80's music...
I love rock and metal first... but I could very easily go from Judas Priest... to Wang Chung in my cd changer.... the 80's were fun...
Music is so fucking boring these days!

A lot of Gary Numan.

A lot of early 80`s Electropop and New Romantic berore it got too commercial.

I remeber at the time it sounded so futuristic and now it sounds futuristicly dated, if you know what I mean.

Drum machines and Synthesizers are so uncool these days.

My dad was one of the sound men bands on the Liverpool circuit during the early-mid 80s, quite a few people used him at one time or another. His "full time" band were called "Madamn", I think they made 1 EP and split up soon after.

He was also used by Dead or Alive and OMD several times.

He said OMD are the biggest bunch of assholes he's ever met/worked for.

Shaun Ponsonby

They're actually ona bit of a comeback, at least in Europe.

They're headlining a couple of fair-sized festivals. Including a night at the Liverpool Summer Pops, which sucks this year, BTW.

Last year we had the likes of The Who, Whitesnake, James Brown, The Darkness, Oscar Peterson, and a few others, who escape me right now. And in the past we've had Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Yes, Meat Loaf, Status Quo etc...

This year we have Amy Winehouse, Girls Aloud, James Morrison, McFly, OMD, and more piles of shite that have yet to be announced.
