This Whole Concept is scary...Wether you think that it would be a conspiracy or not...Well..Thats your opinion...But do you think the days of Nuclear Holocaust Fear are over? or Do you think they're even bigger now?

Neither North Korea or China have the capabilities to build ICBMS at present. I doubt NK ever would. And China probably wouldn't bother. Because nuclear war only ensures that everyone dies. They would rather take their chances in conventional warfare, where they might have a chance of beating just about anyone.

Um, China has a (relatively small) number of ICBMs...

It all comes back to land, basically. Essentially, there's no real point in going to war unless you're at least hoping to reap some sort of benefit out of it - either monetary or political, one or the other is going to be the driving goal. Face it, if there was nothing to be gained from war, war would never happen, right?

One way or another, once you've dusted any enemies army into oblivion, your best bet is to go in and put their resources to your own use. At least a warfare on the scale you're talking about, not just border skirmishes and that sort of shit. Nuclear strikes are going to take a LOT of that potential benefit and flush it right down the toilet. Not too sure about the Koreans, but I do have a strong suspicion that the Chinese would LOVE some American property.

But, say they dismiss all that...

You launch a pre-emptive nuclear strike on anybody else, though, and the whole fucking world is going to sit right the fuck up and go "Now hang on just a cock sucking minute here...". That puts you in a really delicate situation, because a lot of people these days are very trigger happy. Even the countries that don't have intercontinental missle capability are still going to want to take a piece out of your ass for jumping over that line in the sand, just on principle alone. So, if said aggressor country DOES survive a nuclear retaliatory strike (maybe, maybe not), they're still faced with the prospect of a massive ground war on their hands from the late stragglers that they're going to be ill equipped to deal with.

Nuclear strikes are there, sure, but they're just not really an option for anybody...not as an actual measure of war. The cost is too high and the benefits too few. The math just doesn't work at all. If the entire planet was engulfed in all consuming war, a virtual fucking armageddon, and nothing was going to be left of anything anyway, that would be the time that people would start putting nuclear ideas to use...simply because at that point, there'd honestly be no reason not to any longer.

That's my take, anyway. I don't think anybody's stupid enough or could possibly get angry enough to make that leap.

And you can only kill people with lots of weapons. Anyways, China will never do anything. They make way too much money from us.

Yup. Why kill their best customers?

They're beating us with patience...

Only as a last resort...

Sort of like saving the last round for yourself from fear of being captured.

The Soviets realized their fate would be the same and never pulled the trigger, and they had their opportunities(or excuses.)

You gotta love this Reagan-Era flick, though.

With the dollar weakening more and more everyday, plus how much they already own of us outright, a war between asia, Russia and our other biggest owner, the Middle East is more likely.

and nobody wants any of that shit, 51%(?) of THIS country doesn't want any part of that shit..

Besides, china is working on making smaller nuclear warheads for their missles. And since they are shorter rangs, they are more worried about large military buildups near the border and in the Pacific. Added to the fact that a shorter range missile means less time spent in a hazardous suborbit, in which a collision with space junk or an asteroid might occur.

Or are "missle shield".

I still say Tawain and possibly South Korea will go down first, because China could fight that war much easier.
